INVENTORY CONTROL

The ABBASOFT Technologies Inventory Control Module offers a comprehensive approach to the maintenance and history of all items that pass through inventory. As a "stand alone" module or in conjunction with other ABBA software modules, Inventory Control efficiently handles all aspects of inventory management. Inventory items can be serial and/or lot tracked from raw material receipts to finished goods shipment. The physical inventory process is integrated and your business doesn't have to stop while you perform it.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Improve customer service in product deliveries.
  • Maintain an easy and accurate system of inventory data control.
  • Reduce handling costs.

Inventory Control Features

The Inventory Control system provides detailed item specifications and extensive on-line information, including part types, scrap percentage, lot or serial tracking, obsolete parts, bins, receiving inspections, and product categories.

Quantity status is maintained in the part master file for:

  • Quantity on Hand
  • Quantity in Receiving Inspection
  • Quantity on Purchase/Work Orders
  • Total Required
  • Total Committed

Total AvailableA Special/Substitute Entry function allows component and subassembly parts of manufactured products to be entered into a separate master file. This function allows replacement parts to be stored in one easy access file, referenced by manufacturer name and machine type.

Requirements planning can be done at any time to determine what stock levels are below the requirements for safety stock/or manufacturing.

All inventory transactions are on-line in real-time. Adjustments can be made by New Quantity or by Change. Both provide descriptions of the adjustments.

An informative Report section displays data to the terminal or the printer with summary and detail options that include:
