Sales
Representative master files are
defined and entered as part of
the customer record. Forecasted
and actual month-to-date and
year-to-date sales figures for
sales reps are updated
automatically. These include:
- Bookings
- Sales
and Returns
- Commissions
These
also allow the sales rep master
file to serve as an inquiry
option for individual sales
representatives.
Sales
Rep Type Codes allow
classification into specific
groups. Two types of commission
structures can be defined for
each sales group: Table-based or
Non Table-based. Table based
commissions can be either
stepped, or non-stepped, allowing
commission dollars to flow from
one dollar range to the next with
each range giving higher
commission percentages, or
allowing commission dollars to
'lock in' to a single commission
percentage. Non Table-based
commission percentages provide
flat commission percentages to
the sales rep regardless of the
dollar amount.
Detailed
customer master files include
auto or manual customer number
assignments, bill-to and ship-to
addresses, credit limits, terms,
taxes, ship codes, resale
numbers, FAX numbers, and
additional on-line information at
a glance.
Customer
Accounts Receivable inquiries are
available if the AR module is
installed.

Shipment
inquiries show the customer order
status online by shipment for:
- Quantity
ordered

- Quantity
backordered
- Ship
Date

and Extension prices
Sales
commissions are updated by a
single menu option for specific
orders, employee, or date range.
Open
commissions reports display each
customer order for a single sales
representative or all.
